Hearts Above The Sea (HATS) is an Australian registered charity with the aim of delivering educational projects and solutions to the low lying nations in the South Pacific who are affected by global climate change, starting with Kiribati. Kiribati’s existence is under threat from climate change.

Our Goals

  • Create Solutions

  • Raise Awareness

  • Provide Education

  • Preserve Culture

Scientists predict that Kiribati may have just decades before the entire island nation is forced into displacement due to rising sea levels. HATS is working to raise awareness of the plight of the Kiribati nation and to conserve their culture.

The Virtual Cultural Exchange Program (VCEP) aims to educate school-age children around the world about the South Pacific and Kiribati culture and the challenges they face due to climate change.
